Flavoured with ginger and lime, slightly spicy, fresh marinated anchovies. A classic Mediterranean meze dish transformed by a fusion mood.
An appetizing meze of chickpeas purée found in the Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine makes an extremely easy dip that has many variations. Classy and classic, inspired by the Egyptian tradition, this is another of our versions, a delicious slightly hot hummus with tahini and pine nuts.
This is a delicious Greek recipe where the flavours are established by their delicate simplicity. These small Lego style dolmades, vine leaves stuffed with rice (or yialatzi as they are known in Turkish) could easily hold their own in a high class party menu even better than a lot of other common favourites. This is our family version using fresh vine leaves, feathery fennel tops and mint.
It is extremely easy to make marinated anchovies at home and it is by far better in flavour, texture, and appearance than those you find in supermarkets and many restaurants. Feel free to play with the amount of chilli flakes and adjust it to your own spicy limits.
